David M. Geerken is a partner with JJC Law and an experienced litigator. His practice areas include personal injury, medical malpractice, admiralty and maritime claims, construction litigation, hurricane and property damage matters, toxic torts, and products liability cases. David approaches each case with the belief that every client’s story is unique and that meaningful results come from listening closely and developing a focused and thoughtful strategy tailored to the individual needs of each and every client. He is committed to guiding clients through difficult legal challenges with clarity, respect, and steady support.

David earned his Juris Doctor and Bachelor of Civil Law degrees from Louisiana State University’s Paul M. Hebert Law Center, after receiving his Bachelor of Business Administration from Louisiana State University. 

He is licensed to practice in all State and Federal Courts in Louisiana and is a member of the Federal Bar Association, the Louisiana State Bar Association, the New Orleans Bar Association, and the Louisiana Association for Justice.

Outside of his legal work, David enjoys spending time with his wife and children and is an active participant in the annual March on the Hill in Washington, D.C. in association with the Tuberous Sclerosis Alliance, which raises funding and awareness for tuberous sclerosis complex (TSC) research.
