Alexis Woods is a paralegal at JJC Law and a proud native of Kenner, Louisiana. Deeply rooted in her Louisiana heritage, Alexis values the strong sense of community that shaped her growing up. She graduated from Mount Carmel Academy, where she was a proud Ragdoll. 

Alexis began her paralegal career working for a collections law firm who focused on garnishments and the recovery of defaulted loans and credit cards. She later broadened her legal experience by working for a personal injury attorney and then a software company that developed paperless case management systems for Criminal, Civil, and Juvenile Courts across the region before joining JJC Law. 

Outside the office, Alexis loves spending time with her family and seeking out new adventures. When she’s not supporting clients or her colleagues at JJC, she’s fully immersed in her favorite role: “mom.” Looking ahead, Alexis’ long-term goal is to go to law school when her children head off to college!
